Types of Machining Center

 

Vertical machining center
Vertical machining center refers to a machining center with a vertical spindle. Its structure is mostly a fixed column. The worktable is rectangular and has no indexing and rotation function. It is suitable for processing discs, sleeves and plate parts.

 

Horizontal machining center
Horizontal machining center refers to a machining center with a horizontal spindle. Horizontal machining centers usually have an automatic indexing rotary table, which generally has 3 to 5 motion coordinates. The common one is three linear motion coordinates plus one rotary motion coordinate. After the workpiece is installed once, the installation is completed.

 

Gantry machining center
The shape of the gantry machining center is similar to the CNC gantry milling machine. The main spindle of the gantry machining center is mostly vertical. In addition to the automatic tool change device, it also has a replaceable spindle head attachment. The CNC device has complete functions and can be used in one machine.

 

Five-axis machining center
The five-axis machining center has the functions of a vertical machining center and a horizontal machining center. Five-axis machining center, after the workpiece is installed once, it can complete the processing of the other five surfaces except the installation surface.

 

Multi-axis machining center
The multi-axis machining center has changed the structure of the traditional machine tool in the past. The machine is internally wrapped in plastic film and externally packaged in a fumigated wooden crate.
